THE LIFE OF CHARLES DICKENS

PERSONAL REACTION

My Personal Reaction to "A Christmas Carol"

My personal reaction has been well thought of and i took deep thought to honestly say why i would enjoy reading all of "A Christmas Carol".  The reason is that i really do enjoy the holidays. I feel like the holidays bring families together and puts people in a happy mood for the holidays. Christmas gives people a reason to celebrate different things. Some people celebrate Christmas to get gifts. Some celebrate Christmas to remember the dat Jesus was born. Others remember and love to celebrate Christmas because it brings their families together. Some people are family oriented and love to bring them together for the holidays. Well, i am one of those people. I love to see my family together on New Year's Eve, 4th of July, Thanksgiving. However, my favorite holiday would have to be Christmas. When i was little, i use to want to celebrate Christmas to get lots and lots of gifts. now i celebrate Christmas to get my family together for the holidays. "A Christmas Carol" is a great book to sit around the fireplace and drink eggnog and read. Even though Dikens did not write this book with the intention to help earn money to pay off his debt, ended up being a book that sold six million copies in one week. This book expresses how to celebrate Christmas with your family, your companion, and also your friends. Even though i never read the book, the summary gave me a good enough reason to want to buy a copy just to read for Christmas to my family.
