MARRIED LIFE

Charles married a lady named Catherine Hogarth, who later became Catherine Dickens.She was the eldest daughter of George and Georgia Hogarth.She was born in Scotland.Charles was employed by the Morning Chronicle at which her father worked.As he was employed at the Morning Chronicle,he was in a romantic relationship with a woman named Maris Beadnell which went badly.then he later was recovered and quickly found by Catherine.They met in 1834, became engaged in 1835 and were married in April of 1836.They were married for 18 years before they separated in 1858.She later died in 1879.He had 10 children.Charles Culliford(Charley) Dickens(1837-1896), Mary(Mamie) Dickens(1838-1896), Kate Macready(Katie) Dickens(1839-1929),Walter Savage Landor Dickens(1841-1863),Francis Jeffery(Frank) Dickens(1844-1886),Alfred D'Orsay Tennyson Dickens(1845-1912),Sydney Smith Haldimand Dickens(1847-1872),Henry Feilding(Harry)Dickens(1849-1933),Dora Annie Dickens(1850-1851),Edward Bulwer Lytton(Plorn)Dickens(1852-1902).
